WITCH OF ALLOWAY had real potential, but I’d probably have liked it much more if the author had either made this a straight contemporary or gone more into the paranormal.  Given the short page count, the mixture didn’t allow either the paranormal or the romantic element to fully gel.

Alecia Monaco's KING JACK'S BALL amused and intrigued me.  Goblin is my favorite character of all even though he's not the hero in the story.  Fianna and Cade do take center stage and their activities together are steamy, but there's just something about Goblin.

While Lacey Savage's DARK DESIRE is an interesting little nibble, it really didn't do much for me.  The writing was good, the characters well-written, but it was missing one important thing...sexual tension.
