Erotic Gay Paranormal Romance - Short Story

Present Day

It took a while for straight-laced Nigel to accept his "daughter" Sondra's choice of husband.   Despite his reservations about Richie, and his cross-dressing band mates, Nigel has come to believe that Richie will make Sondra happy. As he sits and celebrates the union of Sondra and Richie he catches the scent of the man he's avoided for centuries, his creator, Daniel.   It seems that Richie is Daniel's offspring, as Sondra is Nigel's and now the two are connected by more than just their past.

Daniel, the Spartan warrior formerly known as Areus, has never denied his feelings for the slave he turned a thousand years ago. But when Cassipor, now called Nigel, turned away from the love they shared, he tried to cut Nigel out of his heart.   When he first encounters his long lost love at Richie's wedding reception, he is not surprised that Nigel behaves as if they've never met, after all, Nigel has even denied that Daniel is his creator.   Even as both vampires deny their feelings for each other, it is obvious that the passion that burned between them all those years ago is still as hot and powerful as it ever was.

Now that Nigel and Daniel are forced to spend time together, will Nigel be able to withstand the passion he feels for the only man he's ever loved?   Will Daniel ever be able to trust Nigel and forgive him for his past cruelty?

BITTEN, AGAIN is the fourth tale in the Elixir Maiden series, but the story of the vampires, Nigel and Daniel, stands very well on its own.   Nigel is a complex character and his actions and attitude often rankle.  The reader is given glimpses of the past Cassipor and Areus shared and Nigel's current cruel rejection is hard to understand, until the real Nigel with all his insecurities is revealed.   Daniel will endear himself to readers from the moment he first enters the story.  He is passionate, dangerous, honorable and loyal.   His exemplary qualities seem to shine even brighter when compared to Nigel's narrow-minded view of the world.   Secondary characters are plentiful and while the reader gets a fairly clear picture of them, reading the previous novels in this fascinating series would probably add more depth to them.

BITTEN, AGAIN offers up an emotional tale of re-united lovers and conveys the intensity of the passion and love between Nigel and Daniel beautifully.   A splendid tale, complex and rich in emotion, BITTEN, AGAIN is sure to be a winner with readers.
