distance from Brendan simply about his weight gain or something
else? And what about Kyle, the hot guy that Brendan meets at a gym?
A NEW BEGINNING is about a man who decides to change
one thing about his life and ends up changing a whole lot more. The
problem I had with the story is that Seth is such a complete jerk,
readers will wonder why Brendan ever ended up with him. Happy
memories of the two, remembered by Brendan, are placed within the
story, but it will be hard for readers to get a sense of Seth as
being someone other than an unpleasant person. Brendan overlooking
or not recognizing this fact, makes Brendan, while a likeable
character, still too passive. The introduction of Kyle and its
resolution seemed quick, with very little built up between him and
Brendan.
NEW BEGINNING has many good elements, but fails in
one vital thing, creating characters that leaps off the pages and
grabs readers. I think as a longer story it would have worked
better. A NEW BEGINNING is a nice beginning for Laundry Gains, if
not a great one.

and keep him for her own.
ANYTHING YOU WANT gives the readers
exactly that. Jarden is one sexy character, regardless of his
missing human parts. Megan Hart has written scorching sex scenes and
that of Milla, the damaged character who has a unique problem with
her outcome of sexual release, but with a little care and the right
amount of loving, she begins to heal very nicely. Even though most
of the action happens between Milla and Jarden during a small period
of time, I felt their tension and disappointments, but also their
joy and love. I was also not expecting a happy ending, but was very
surprised on that count. For intense and very moving sex scenes, I
would recommend ANYTHING YOU WANT and the writing skills of Megan
Hart.

he does seem a bit crazy. It’s not long before the attraction
between the two explodes into erotic passion. But, who is Destin
MacCordrum and why does their meeting seem like fate?
Humor and sensuality blend to create a
delightful tale and a twist at the end leads me to believe there
will be more about Terri and Destin. I recommend BENEATH A MIDNIGHT
SEA for a hot and sweet romance.

Brad knows it is a little strange but
for a long time he has had a crush on a man he has never met, Derek
Sloane. Brad finds his photographs to be passionate and interesting;
they speak to Brad on a visceral level. When Brad is offered a
contract to do a catalogue and calendar for a male clothing line,
one of his stipulations is that Derek Sloane be hired as the
photographer. Excited, aroused, and full of trepidation, Brad rushes
out to greet Derek when he arrives. But Brad is crushed, literally,
when his long-time crush unknowingly breaks his heart with his
abrupt declaration that he does not “do” models.
For a very short story, Cassie Stevens
does a good job of creating two main characters that readers will
immediately like very much and will want to see together. But the
relationship and the story never truly get off the ground. In short,
I wish the elements in MODEL BEHAVIOR had fit together as perfectly
as Brad and Derek seem to do.
