Kiss Of The Wolf - J.T. Schultz

An unspecified city in the United States - Present Day

Brianna Le Roux is a lawyer in her family’s firm, last night there was a party at a local club celebrating her new position as a full partner. A few drinks, okay, maybe more than a few drinks, resulted in Brianna’s being taken home by a stranger that she barely remembers this morning. The one thing she can remember about him is the incredible sex that they shared. The fur on her bed this morning? Well, that’s another mystery to solve. When Jarred  Forester walks into her office later that day and removes all doubt of just who was in her bed last night, Brianna is both mortified and incredibly, aroused all over again. What sort of animal magnetism does this man possess?

Jared Forester always knew that his family and Brianna’s wanted them to end up together, but this is one wolf (werewolf to be precise) that isn’t ready to settle down. Or is he? A woman like Brianna could convince any wolf that home and hearth are only complete with a spirited mate. It’s too bad that Brianna doesn’t know that he’s a werewolf, that could prove to be a stumbling block. So could the interference from her grandfather that resulted in Brianna being in his club last night. Will Brianna win this lone wolf’s heart?

An incredibly sexy story right out of the gate, Kiss Of The Wolf starts off TORRID TEASERS VOLUME 23 with a bang. Werewolf fans will be greatly pleased with this steamy story.

The Man Upstairs - C. Armstrong

An unspecified town in the United States - Present Day

Sarah is trying her best to bake a cheesecake. While that doesn’t sound like a difficult task, you’d have to understand exactly how bad a cook Sarah is. Her ex had taken great joy in pointing out what a failure she is at the culinary arts, part of the reason he’s now her ex. But today is a new day, and despite the terrible racket coming from the apartment of her new upstairs neighbor, Matt Lowery, and the interference of nosy Ms. Jenkins, Sarah is determined to prevail. But when the smoke alarm goes off and Ms. Jenkins and Matt arrive to make sure everything is all right, Sarah is reminded yet again why her last name, Lee, is so laughable. Sarah Lee indeed. But then Matt offers to give Sarah baking lessons, turns out he’s a chef. Hmm, maybe this isn’t the disaster it first appeared.

Matt Lowery has been attracted to his neighbor Sarah since the first time he spied the petite spitfire on the steps of their building. When he finds out what a failure she is as a cook and how vulnerable she is about her skills (and name) he can’t resist this chance to play the hero and get to know Sarah at the same time.

Oh my, what that man does with powdered sugar! I mean baking with it of course, what were you thinking? <g> Sarah and Matt make a delightful couple and their chemistry is as strong as Sarah’s cheesecake was bad.

TORRID TEASERS VOLUME 23 is another great book from Whiskey Creek Press Torrid. Guaranteed to liven up your day and leave you wishing for a wolf, or chef, of your very own. J.T. Schultz and C. Armstrong will surely earn some new fans with these hot stories.
