Ashville, North Carolina - Present Day

Devlin Johns has come to Ashville to scout out the town to determine if he and his business partner can move their construction company here to accommodate Cole's mate's job transfer.  Dev's first order of business is to meet with the local pack -- as werewolves, he and Cole need to join the local pack when they move.  His introduction to the Alpha pack leader, Victor, leaves Dev in no doubt that he has no desire to become a member of this pack.  Victor and his goons are in the process of beating up and attempting to rape the pack Omega, Laine Campbell.  To make matters worse -- the pack Omega is Dev's mate.

After years of being without a mate, Dev never thought he'd have one -- or if he did, that his mate would be female, which holds no appeal for him -- so when he first sees Laine and realizes that he is his mate he's thrilled -- or he will be as soon as he beats the hell out of the goons attacking him.  When Laine wakes up from his beating, he finds himself in a motel room with a stranger -- a stranger who turns him on more than any man he's ever known.  Dev and Laine both realize they are meant to be together -- and they also realize that Victor isn't done with them.  In order to protect his mate, Dev just may have to challenge the Alpha and take over the pack.

A humorous and sexy paranormal romance, WITH LOVE will entertain, bring a few smiles and an occasional laugh.  Dev is a sexy man who is successful in business, but not so much in love...until he meets his mate.  Laine, or Lainey as he prefers to be called, is almost too adorable.  The relationship between Dev and Lainey is hot and funny -- with Lainey being a total klutz as well as being unable to keep any thought in his head from blurting out of his mouth.  The pace is fast and the romance is enjoyable; however, some of the humor was a bit forced with regard to Laine and his clumsiness and naiveté.  Other than that, I enjoyed J.L. Langley's WITH LOVE and recommend it to fans of the genre.
