Other than that flaw, Zander is a likeable character and truly loves Leilani, even if he doesn't realize it at first. Leilani is a powerful woman in her own right whose feelings for Zander are still as strong as they were two years ago when he turned his back on her. Together Leilani and Zander are unbeatable and the chemistry between them is sizzling. The sex is steamy, erotic, and downright dirty. <g> That's the best kind, don't you think? Secondary characters include Leilani's sister, Melantha and Zander's second-in-command, Terik, who has a thing for Melantha. There are also two other men who play a minor but integral part in the bonding ceremony; Rainer and Nikolai. Talk about some hot scenes? Get out the ice water and turn up the fan.
