As a doctor,
Jena is fascinated by the vampire's erotic power. The way they can
seduce with a look, a whispered word. She wants to examine their
blood and figure out what makes them so different. Her best friends
have all been turned and married to vampires, and she wishes for one
of her own. The sexy Ian Sinclair fits the bill perfectly. Although
he keeps his distance, she knows he's watching her from the shadows.
On Valentine's Day, Jena has a date, but instead of seeing him, she
stares at Ian who is sitting a few tables over, his eyes never
leaving hers. The date ends and Jena wishes it had been Ian she was
with, Ian who had brought her home. A knock on the door starts a
fantasy that Jena hopes will never end.
Ian Sinclair is
the enforcer of the clan. His job is to watch the human doctor,
Jena, and make sure she doesn't spill the beans about their
existence. Of course, watching Jena isn't a hardship for Ian, at
least above the belt anyway. There's something about her that he
can't quite put his finger on, but if his suspicions are correct
then his vampire brothers will protect Jena to the death. As Ian
watches Jena with her date, he wishes it were him, because if the
guy makes one more move to touch her Ian is going to have to
intervene. He notices a couple of things about Jena too. One, she
keeps backing away from the guy's touch, and two, she won't even
touch the gift her date tries to give her. Ah...another confirmation
to his suspicions. The date ends, Jena arrives home, and Ian can
wait no longer. Tonight will answer all his questions, and more than
likely, open up a new can of worms.
FOREVER
VALENTINE is exciting, thrilling, and a must read. Ian is devilishly
handsome, kisses like a dream, and perfect for Jena. Jena is
intelligent, sexy, and Ian's ideal mate. The sex between them
sizzles and singes the page edges. Ian's job is to watch Jena and
make sure she keeps quiet. What he isn't supposed to do is think
about seduction. I like Jena. She's inquisitive and not afraid of
Ian. At least not of Ian the vampire. Now Ian the sexy man, that's a
different story. <g> The sex is fiery, sensuous, and a delight to
the senses. Not to mention arousing. The story is fast-paced,
intriguing, and I have to ask if Ms. D'Arc is planning on writing
about the friends and their vampire mates? The only other character
is Dr. Dick (yes his name is really Dick) Schmidt, Jena's handsy
Valentine's Day date, and it seems, a voyeur.
Bianca D'Arc's
FOREVER VALENTINE is a scintillating romance that this reviewer
thoroughly enjoyed reading.
