United States – Present Day

Korey O'Caha is a centuries old Druid Warrior and he fears nothing.  Except Gigi, the beautiful mortal who has not only stolen his heart but his wits as well.   It amuses his cousin Coyle to no end that the womanizing Korey is completely tongue-tied around Gigi.  Korey finds it humiliating, but all he can do when Gigi is near is dream of stripping her naked and pounding into her until they are both sated.   Unfortunately, he can't find the words to tell Gigi that he wants to take their relationship beyond friendship.  And then there is the problem of explaining exactly what he is to a woman who doesn't know that Druids even exist.

Gigi finds Korey an amusing companion, and thinks his pretending to be a lady killer is hilarious.  She's been attracted to Korey from the moment they met, and were it not for the fact that she has secrets that could be deadly, she would be more than willing to answer the desire in Korey's eyes.   When a man from Gigi's past appears everyone's secrets are revealed, but will the truth allow Korey and Gigi to be together or will Gigi's past destroy them both?

GODDESS OF THE GROVE is a charming tale filled with magic and passion. Korey appears at first to be a little too shy to be a hero, but when danger strikes, his true self and his power is a sight to behold. Gigi is not the simple woman she appears to be. She's kind and caring and is willing to risk her own life for those she cares for.  The relationship between Korey and Gigi is sweet but also extremely erotic once they let their walls down and allow the passion between them come to life. Secondary characters are well developed and there is one who just begs for his own story.  The even pace and smooth plotting make GODDESS OF THE GROVE an easy and entertaining read.  While it's the second book in the Sacred Places series, it can be read and enjoyed on its own.  However, I'm betting Coyle's story was told in the first book and I fully intend to read it as soon as possible.

Likable characters, an intriguing plot and extremely heated sex scenes all blend together to make GODDESS OF THE GROVE a novel I highly recommend.
