Present Day

Finding out that her contractor scammed her two weeks before the opening of her store has left Temperance Callahan in quite a bind.  But even as desperate as she is, Tem would never have called on Gray Foster to help her.  Unfortunately, Tem’s best friend, Morgan Foster, called her brother for help.  Tem has had a crush on Gray for years, and not only does he not return it, he also ridicules her for her “claims” that she is a witch.  As much as Tem would like to turn down Gray’s help though, she’s going to have to take it or risk her business.

Gray has always been attracted to Temperance, but he’d never been able to do anything about it – until now.  Even though he thinks that Temper (his favorite nickname for her despite how much she hates it) is a little off, considering that she believes she’s a witch, Gray wants to help her get her business off the ground.  Watching her walk around her building has him reliving some of his favorite fantasies and he can’t help but wonder if Temper would be interested in helping him fulfill them.

A little accident with a spell will answer Gray’s question, and leave Tem with some of her own.  Like, is Gray’s attraction to her because of the spell, or something else?

I PUT A SPELL ON YOU is an entertaining short story.  Though Gray’s reasons for steering clear of Temperance when they were younger aren’t quite clear, he’s never forgotten her.  Tem was heartbroken by his indifference to her and the fact that he didn’t belief she is a witch.  The sexual attraction between them is strong, but Tem’s memories hold her back from trusting him.  When they do finally get together it’s hot, and the speed with which the relationship happens is balanced by their earlier friendship.

A tempting little tale, look for I PUT A SPELL ON YOU.
