Erotic Paranormal Romance – Short Story

California - Present Day

Claire Wilcox is CEO of Consolidated Industries International, she’s also a certified b***h. Or at least that’s what her employees and competitors would say if you asked. Claire just considers herself a get-it-done-whatever-it-takes kind of woman. If that means stepping on some toes, greasing a few palms or ignoring any sense of fairness, well, some things are just necessary in life to have the kind of control she craves. After paying over a million dollars for a hand-made 1957 Mannhof motorcycle, Claire’s going to find out just what it’s like to lose control, she just doesn’t know it yet.

The 1957 Mannhof is no ordinary motorcycle. It’s Designer, Klaus Mannhof, creates only one of a kind motorcycles, built specifically for certain owners. Klaus has a way of making a machine beyond all others. For this motorcycle is sentient and Will, the man painted on the gas tank, is the very image of the one the motorcycle has the power to transform itself into. Designed to find the one lady he was built for, it’s Will’s task to heal Claire’s soul. But can any man, even a unique man created especially for her, break through the CEO’s hard shell to the vulnerable woman underneath?

Wow! If you’re searching for something a little different, look no further. ONE OWNER, LADY DRIVEN is one of the most creative stories I’ve read lately. While Claire will certainly not endear herself to readers in the beginning, or frankly, most of the way through the book, when her past comes to light we will gain insight into her that makes her, if not a heroine to fall in love with, at least a sympathetic one. Will is a curious mixture of innocence and frank carnality. With a surprising amount of emotional energy ready to pour out on the unsuspecting Claire, he takes a few knocks to his young soul before receiving in return the kinds of feelings that he has for her. Together, this surprising pair make an unbeatable team, on the road or off.

The story is primarily focused on the relationship between Claire and Will, though there are some secondary characters of note including Ted, Claire’s loyal (though I’ve got no idea why) assistant, and others who work for her.

The sex is hot, the creative talents of the author undeniable, and the story is a great read. For all of these reasons you should definitely consider buying ONE OWNER, LADY DRIVEN on your next shopping expedition.
