Erotic Fantasy Romance, ménage - Short Story

North Carolina and the lands of the Shequanti - Present Day

Kate George has been living in a parallel world where elves and humans (called Numeni) co-exist. War has come to that land and her lover’s father, Kaberon, Prince of the Shequanti, does what he thinks best and sends Kate home to her own world. But Kate is determined to get back to Briason (her lover), no matter what it takes. Finding Kaberon’s ex-lover, Elaine, is the first step to getting back to the Shequanti, but when Kate succeeds, she finds that much has changed and she has a difficult choice to make. Will she make the right one?

Briason and Kate are soul mates, and it’s that very bond that made him glad Kate was safe in her own world. How can he forgive her for placing herself in jeopardy by coming back?

Abaus (Briason’s cousin), and the mage that held Kate captive not so long ago also shares a bond with Kate, he’s not ready to let her go and he’s thought of a way to get closer to her.

Can Kate, Briason and Abaus put aside their differences and save the Shequanti? There’s only one way to find out, buy the book.

The third in The Shequanti series, THE SHATTERED PYRAMID allows us to see a different side of the main characters. Kate has accepted her new magical talents and she’s ready to use them to kill if necessary. Abaus and Briason have (ostensibly anyways), put aside their differences to fight their common enemy (the Numeni), together. But can they continue as allies when the woman they both desire is once more in their lives?

Briason’s father, Kaberon, Prince of the Shequanti and one of the leaders of their people, once again plays an  important role in the story. His soul mate, Elaine, has been living in her own world for a long time now, and having her back will change everything for Kaberon. Elaine was once purpor ed to be crazy, but let me tell you, if she is, it’s much more fair to say that she’s crazy like a fox. Kate is definitely not the first strong woman to cross over into the world of the Shequanti.

Full of adventure, danger, and some steamy sex, THE SHATTERED PYRAMID is a fitting continuation of the story first begun in THE STONE TABLE and continued in THE GOLDEN SPHINX. You should definitely read the first two books before attempting this one, as there is not much explanation as to what occurred in the past and you may not understand much of what goes on. This is a great fantasy read, don’t miss it.
