TORQUERED takes place in a hot BDSM club in Atlanta where anything goes.  The setting is in a believable futuristic environment filled with amazing electronics and exciting inhabitants.  Pru’s cover is working as a paid mistress in the club.  After submitting to the Relics for ten years of her life, she vows to never do so again.  She rises in the ranks of the club to become one of the most popular Dommes and her clients pay very well to be dominated by Mistress Pru.  Ms. Garrett turns the heat way up with glimpses of some of these sessions.  But, there is a flat out inferno when Pru has her session with Gage and Ro.  I paused quite a few times while reading TORQUERED and attempted to visualize some of those creative positions Emma Garrett writes about!

Pru comes across as a strong character who knows exactly what she wants.  She has special telepathic abilities that make her one of the stronger Relics in the world.  Gage and Ro are both alpha vampires who have never submitted to anyone in their lives.  I would have loved to see more of  Pru’s abilities in action as opposed to just reading that she posses those talents.  The paranormal aspects of these characters were not as described as I would have liked, but the sex scenes were truly delicious.  I recommend TORQUERED to readers who are looking for a sexy story without strong characterization.
