Danek’s commander Keelan was fortunate enough to find his mate, Micki, on an unlikely planet, Earth. Unfortunately, Keelan whisked her away before asking her if there were any last minute errands she needed to do before leaving. But, Danek is single and if Keelan could find his perfect match on Earth, maybe he can to. He’ll just drop off Micki’s manuscript to her friend Angela before hunting for his mate. Imagine Danek’s delight when he discovers that Angela is his mate.

Angela has been worried sick about Micki, so when the hunky Danek brings her news that proves she’s okay, Angela is thrilled. Her enthusiasm has absolutely nothing to do with the delicious bearer of good news. Well, maybe it has something to do with Danek. Perhaps she should thank him properly. But then again, if he’s serious about the whole “alien” thing, well, Angela doesn’t do aliens, no way, no how.

Poor Danek, just as he and Angela are getting very close, she freaks out about a “minor” species difference. Hasn’t he been the epitome of patient? Why, the poor man has waited at least eight hours or so to ask her to leave Earth with him. Angela cannot believe this is happening, first she finds out her friend fell in love with an alien, and now she is too. Sure he’s cute, sweet, appreciates a really good caramel macchiato, and he does seem sincere, but for gosh sakes he’s still an alien. EARTH GIRLS AREN’T EASY manages to pack a huge serving of humor and some really hot sex into a mere fifty-three pages. Danek and Angela make a wonderful couple, both of them want that once in a lifetime kind of love, and together, they’ve found it. And hey, you’ve got to love a guy who doesn’t resent his woman fantasizing about another male, but who instead views it as incentive  to work a little harder to satisfy her. ;-)
