Javier spent more than half his life as a captive of the Setti.  Experimented on and groomed to be a breeder, he is a Setti hybrid; his only purpose to spread the Setti race across the galaxy.  Javier was only recently freed from captivity by Adara and Rhys, her mate and the Commander of the Alliance (FORSAKEN DESIRE).  His cousin, Kamm, was also freed but disappeared with an evil Setti shifter shortly thereafter. Javier still can't believe Kamm went with the Setti bitch willingly.

The Alliance has called a meeting to plan a strategy to locate and destroy all of the Setti research facilities.  Arabel, leader of the Nac O'te, a race of vampire-like warriors, is told to attend and when she doesn't commit to attending the Alliance meeting, Commander Rhys has no choice but to force her compliance. Brock (FORBIDDEN DESIRE) and Javier plan to kidnap Arabel and it will be Javier's job to make her see reason.   The moment they land on the Nac O'te world Javier can sense that the Setti have already been there and it is more imperative than ever that Arabel remain with the alliance.

From the instant Javier and Arabel are together they both realize they've met before in a dream.  But before they can make any plans for the future, the Setti must be found and destroyed as well as their breeding laboratories.

Hot, hot and hotter, that is the best way to describe the Invasion Earth series.  Each story builds upon the previous one, and while they can be read independently for the romance element, the overall plot is continued through each.   FORCED ALLIANCE is a visceral story.  The torment Javier faced as a Setti captive was learned in the previous novel, but the wounds to his soul become even more apparent in this story.  His feelings for Arabel are powerful and nearly uncontrollable because the shifter in him can sense Arabel is his mate, but the man knows he cannot simply claim her.   Arabel is a powerful woman, and one who doesn't take well initially to Javier's dominant personality.  While both are strong willed, neither is strong enough to fight destiny or the passion between them.   Well drawn characters, heart wrenching emotion and a plethora of heroes willing to die to protect the worlds from the spread of Setti influence make the Invasion Earth a series exciting in more ways than one.  As for Kamm, Javier's cousin? Well, we'll just have to wait and see what's in store for him.

Action, drama and danger abound as the members of the Alliance go toe to toe with the fearsome Setti.  Amidst the danger and action is a beautifully crafted romance between two characters who will steal your heart.   Don't miss FORCED ALLIANCE it's a winner.
