Alliance
Headquarters and Admar – In the Future
An Alliance
Reader, Sarah Marks, can 'read' flora, fauna, and people. Her Psi
abilities sometimes overwhelm her senses, especially when picks up
on another's thoughts, so she keeps most of her skin covered. One of
the side effects is that there are times when others are pulled into
her head.
The planet Admar
has been rediscovered, but it appears to be deserted. Negotiator Amy
Tyrell has assigned Sarah to the team that is being sent to explore
the remains of a once-great civilization. Sarah is eager to go but
there is the matter of an archeologist, Professor Ridwal, whose
academic life she threw into a tailspin some years back. He is less
than pleased that she will be along.
Despite him,
Sarah does what she is best at: finding signs of life if any exist.
None of the landing party can quite believe what they see when Sarah
opens the gates of a massive structure. Waiting for them is an
Elf--- a tall, dark, and gorgeous Elf.
Demetrius
Tahmores is one of the last Admaryn. 1,500 years ago he had placed
himself in stasis to wait for the woman he saw in his
dreams---Sarah--- to come to Admar. When they meet, Sarah is
immediately smitten and soon scrumptious, sizzling sex takes them
over.
MARKS OF ADMAR
is so very good. It is charming, well-written, the heroine can hold
her own, and the hero is yummy. In a short space the author tells a
most satisfying story of love and adventure. Just like the previous
Champions of Terra stories, MARKS OF ADMAR gives readers a
look at the fascinating universe created by author Viola Grace. Her
take on civilization is that all peoples, no matter how diverse, CAN
co-exist. We are also given a bit more information on Negotiator Amy
Tyrell and her place in the Alliance. Add it to your keeper shelf.
