CATCH ME IF YOU CAN is both a reunion story, and one of friends finding so much more than they’d expected.  The baggage from their shared past is pretty heavy, and they’ll need to work through that if a relationship is to succeed.  Emma always felt slighted by Lenny’s refusal to see her as a desirable woman, and the way their friendship ended only made things worse for her.  She’s determined to teach Lenny what it’s like to desire someone who isn’t as interested, but she hadn’t counted on falling into her own trap.  Lenny, after realizing he would be seeing Emma again, had hoped to rekindle their friendship, and never imagined there could be anything more between them.  Despite their mutual attraction, the tension builds slowly as they do start over as friends before taking things farther.
