But Sam, who has been learning to control his powers, is determined to prevent any more innocent deaths, even if he has to sacrifice himself. And although Sam really does love Bo, he wonders how much longer he can be understanding of Bo’s predicament, while denying himself what he really craves-a fully committed and adult relationship with Bo? Sam is also sexually attracted to his new co-worker, Dean. Willl Sam turn to Dean?

Ms. Blue’s WHAT HIDES INSIDE succeeds on two levels: The continuing saga of Sam and Bo’s relationship, which is sexy and intriguing, and BCPI’s cool and exciting investigation of South Bay High School that had me on the edge of my seat. What or who is taking the students? Will another team member be lost? The camaraderie between the co-workers is playful, respectful, and fun to read. Their investigation tactics are believable and will entice readers to read on in anticipation.  WHAT HIDES INSIDE, Book 2 of A Bay City Paranormal Investigation, can be read and enjoyed by those who are not familiar with OLEANDER HOUSE, Book 1 of the series. Ms. Blue does a good job of giving enough background information so new readers of the series will not feel lost.
