Miami, Florida - Present Day

Dr. Cecilia Barnes, a hematologist, is leaving her office like usual on a normal Friday night when she is attacked.  Cecilia is already scared out of her mind at the assault, and the fangs she sees in the mouths of her assailants just make the experience even more surreal.  Rescued at the last minute, Cecilia passes out, only to awaken in a strange bed.  Since all of her body parts seem to be there and working, Cecilia knows she is at least safe for the moment…but where is she?

When Julian Mansfield reads the article highlighting Dr. Barnes and her work, he is as intrigued with the woman as he is scared at the direction of her research.  If Cecilia is successful, her work will spell doom to all vampires.  Julian, attracted to the lovely doctor, would rather see if he can change her mind concerning her research instead of just killing her.  But this pits him directly against his enemy, Valentin, a power-hungry vampire who just wants her dead.

Can Julian convince Cecilia to stop her work when he can’t even admit to her that he is a vampire?  What will Cecilia do when she discovers Julian has been lying to her since they met?

BLOOD WILL TELL is a sexy adventure with witty characters and an interesting plot.  Cecilia is a no-nonsense woman who sees no reason not to challenge authority, especially when it comes in an arrogant package.  When he didn’t know Cecilia, Julian planned to use his charm and vampire powers to get her to do what he wanted.  But when the relationship unexpectedly deepens, he suddenly finds himself afraid to reveal the truth about himself for fear she will leave him.

Secondary characters include Julian’s vampire family – Edward, Elizabeth and Tristan – as well as Valentin, Julian’s enemy, and Valentin’s second-in-command, Daemon.  Beyond providing background on the protagonists, these individuals play a significant role in moving the plot forward, through betrayal and romance.

For an erotically-charged adventure with a large dash of action and romance, check out BLOOD WILL TELL.
