Summer Lambert celebrates her cousins’ weddings before she heads for the airport and the private plane that will take her to her much needed vacation. Drugging Summer so he could bite her and create the bond is sneaky and Jackson feels bad about it, but she’s incredibly strong and stubborn and he feels the time has come to take action. Now he just has to get Summer to forgive him for his deception and accept their mated status, plus find out who’s behind all the unrest surrounding his pack and deal with all of the other problems that arise in a pack of hundreds.

The third in the Lunar Mates series, CHASING THE MOON continues the established tradition of true love between two strong leads and danger surrounding them. Jackson is a man under siege, when he was named Alpha of the pack he soon lost three of his best friends. One of them, Darius, was his competitor for the position and the other two left with Darius to form a new pack in Alabama. Soon after it became apparent that all was not well within his own pack and there exists a wolf who wants to take his place as Alpha. Add in finding out that his destined mate is a witch and doesn’t want to be mated to him and it’s more then one man should have to deal with. But Jackson contends with all of these issues in admirable fashion and manages to be likeable despite his sneaky way of claiming Summer. Despite being a witch, Summer is a very down to earth woman. When she realizes that the jig is up and there’s no way to avoid Jackson any longer, she’s ready to fight for her love and her man. It takes a strong woman to get past the inhibitions of the past and Summer is no weakling. Together the pair strike sparks that will singe your fingers.

Clint Osborn is Jackson’s enforcer and helps to search for the person attempting to bring down his Alpha. Billy Cagle is Jackson’s Beta, and while he’s normally an even tempered man, he’s having personal problems at the moment (look for his story to be told next). Wyatt Underwood and his mate Chloe were once members of the Appalachian pack and their lives are still inextricably bound up with the pack today.
