Dorcas “Dorky” Shannigan isn’t the least bit surprised when she finds out that Grey is the agent they are sending to investigate her. Though she’s done nothing wrong, she does know what’s going on. Unfortunately if she told anybody they probably wouldn’t believe her. Especially when they discovered what she’s been hiding. Secretly she can’t wait to meet Grey face to face. Ever since he started working for SIA, Dorky has fantasized about the man. She knows everything there is to know about him…except for his kiss, his touch. When Grey makes it down to her neck of the woods in the complex, Dorky isn’t quite sure she’s ready for Grey in the flesh. Will he really keep his promise and give her a kiss? Does she really want one? Heck yes!

Life is about to get complicated for Grey. When he is finally face to face with his fantasy woman, Grey learns several things. And one of them is a doozy. He wants nothing more than to explore the sizzling attraction between them, but first, he’s got a job to do. Will Dorky aid him or block his every step?

I have been waiting for quite a while for this story. Dorky has been a constant thread in each of the other books in this series, and to finally meet her and see her story told is fantastic. In CLANDESTINE, Dorky and Grey meet for the first time. Oh they’ve been flirting and talking for a couple of years, but to finally face the one you’ve been having wet dreams about…wow! Both Grey and Dorky are stubborn, hard-headed, and dedicated to their jobs. They are a perfect match for each other and the sex between them is so hot, it steamed up my glasses. The only other character who is really mentioned prominently is the other agent Grey has been sent to investigate. Derek Van Doren, the good professor is powerful just like…hmm…better keep that to myself. <g> You’ll just have to read the book to find out.

A paranormal treat at its best, CLANDESTINE by Denise A. Agnew is perfect to curl up on the couch with.
