Drake Raven heads back to Kentucky in search of a certain lady named Grace. He's got some unfinished business with the sexy woman. Too bad he didn't catch her last name. He figures he can ask around at the bar while he eats a quick bite. That won't be necessary, though, because Drake learns the lady in question is standing right behind him with a gun pointed at him. Mmm...so his lady is Sheriff? She fills out that uniform nicely. However, when she tells him he's under arrest for murder, Drake realizes their clean-up job wasn't all that great. He'll go along peacefully, but when he gets released he's taking his lady sheriff on one wild ride she won't ever forget.

Sheriff Grace Shanley isn't having the best of days. Three dead bodies reduced to ash with a wooden stake in each chest is not a good thing. Tire tracks at the old mine and a piece of a taillight are the only clues she has to go on at the moment. Then there's the run-in with the strange man with the amber eyes. What is up with that? As she heads back to town in the hopes of grabbing something to eat, her thoughts turn towards the gorgeous stranger in the tight leather pants she'd met a while back. Drake Raven! What she wouldn't give to have him naked and in her bed. Of course, she never expected to arrest him for the murders, either, but that's exactly what she does when he comes back to town. Grace takes him back to jail and suddenly the power goes out, locking them both in the holding cell. What happens after that is pure sex, raw and nasty.

Unfortunately for Grace, she gets caught with her pants down, not to mention the strange man she met in the woods. What the hell is going on, and how is Drake involved?

Scrumptious is the word I would choose to describe Drake Raven. He's the rebel of the Ravens who does his job, and gives the ladies exactly what they want. When he meets Grace, there's something about her that touches him deeply. And after he figures it out, he's more than ready to step into that role. Grace's life hasn't been an easy one. She ran for sheriff after her brother, Chase, was killed in the line of duty. She's caring for her aging father, Dillon, and trying to raise her nephew, Rogue. So when is there time for Grace? Hardly ever. Just once she'd like to be dominated by a man. To be taken to heights of pleasure never reached, and quite simply to just be a girl. In DRAKE, Grace gets a man who gives her everything she wants and more. Drake is the perfect lover and a man she would want by her side in any given situation. The sex is over the top, spicy, and naughty.

These two team up to find a killer, and Grace learns that vampires do exist. Fascinating, but scary as hell. Secondary characters include a couple of newcomers to the series, lawyer turned vampire hunter, Colin Moore; and Grace's nephew, Rogue Raven Shanley. (Interesting name don't you think?) An old enemy rears his ugly mug, deciding that Grace is the perfect mate for him. Will he succeed in getting her or will he lose another potential mate to a Raven?
