Eva is on a special mission for Chancellor Vonatos, the new leader of the Global Alliance of Nations. She is along for the trip to Proxima Centauri as a security liaison officer, but her main mission is to kill Dex Solomon and his group, all lycanthropes. Lycanthropes are genetically altered people, a science experiment gone wrong, leaving a whole group of people similar to werewolves. That is, she is to eliminate them after she finds a data clip exposing the real "suicide" of former Chancellor N'Namdi. It should be an easy job for a woman with her experience of many years, except Dex is one fine looking man who fills Eva’s head with thoughts of sex, not assassination. This is going to be one messed up mission!

Dex Solomon doesn't know what it is with his security liaison, but his mind keeps going in directions it shouldn't. Scorned by everyone, Dex and his crew are given all the dirty jobs in the universe. Only once has his lycanthrope side taken hold of him, and the results of all the damage he caused are well documented. An extremely tall and large man, Dex and his Lycan side are almost impossible to stop. But when his groups mission blows up in their faces, and everyone must fight for their lives, a spy in their midst may cause unknown harm. After being an assassin for many years, Eva has become hardened to all the people she has killed. Dex knows he is a scorned person, and treated as second class, but hopes that Eva will come to think of him as a possible mate.  

Written from both Eva and Dex's point of view, the action is non-stop as they try to escape from Proxima Centauri, Eva hopefully with the data clip and all the lycanthropes killed, and Dex with a successful mission. There is a spy, explosions, an escape, and really, what else do you need to get your heart pounding faster?  The writing is vivid and holds our attention, and readers will be able to imagine Dex striding along in his greatcoat.

Dex and his crew are a mixture of interesting and strong people. Liberty is blind, but an illegal implant by her wealthy family allows her to function as a valued member of the team, and she has been with Dex for many years. Cupcake is an ex-pugilist, ex-mobster, ex-killer, but totally devoted to Liberty. Dragana and Ivan are twins who love weapons, the bigger the better, and each other. No one gets between these two who are born to fight.  Each character has a function to fulfill on the mission that makes FERAL a well-rounded story filled with excitement and action.

FERAL is a thrilling and hair raising story that will keep you on the edge of your seat, and also has some hot lovin' between two people who can't stand for the other to be in charge.  These are all the elements that make FERAL a grand story.
