Lea
Venlay aka S.M. Ryans, a well-known author, doesn't know why in the
world a wealthy man such as Dekker Ferin is flirting with her. Of
course he is Dracon, and her family is at war with his kind over an
incident that happened five hundred years ago. Now no one knows that
she is S.M. Ryans or that the stories she writes about the Dracon
border on truth. Well, except for Dekker that is. When her house is
ransacked and all her research material is stolen she is excited to
find that her backup copy is still safely hidden away. Lea is
shocked however, when she turns to find Dekker standing right there
with fire in his eyes and a promise on his mind.
Dekker
Ferin is fascinated by Lea Venlay. He doesn't really understand said
fascination until after her house is broken into and he takes her to
his home for safekeeping. Of course, that's not the only reason he
brings her home. He also wants Lea in his bed. It soon becomes
apparent to Ferin that Lea is his Draka, or Queen, and its time to
stake his claim. With a little help from his brothers, Matthias and
Adrian, and his first in command, Lucas, these dragons will show Lea
something she doesn't know about them...their mating practices. Oh,
and the fact that Ferin and his brothers are the royal family.
Can
Ferin persuade Lea that she is his Queen, the one meant to rule by
his side or will he lose her with his omission? Will her family kill
him for taking Lea or welcome him with open arms? Hmm....good
question. <g>
Fascinating! Absolutely enthralling is what I found FIREBREATHER by
Marie Harte to be. Ferin and Lea are intriguing characters with a
little secret here and there. Watching them interact, in bed and
out, is interesting. The sex is hot and sweaty, totally erotic, and
naughty, with twosomes, threesomes, and oh yeah, a foursome. Now,
that's just until the bonding between Ferin and Lea is complete.
After that it's Ferin and Lea only. Secondary characters include
Ferin's brothers, Lea's wacky family, Lucas, who has more women than
he knows what to do with and a few others who add insight. However,
this story is mostly about Lea and Ferin's budding relationship and
whether or not they can weather the storm.
