Las Vegas, Nevada - Present Day

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and believe me, Becky is desperate.  She is tired of flying solo at night with her toys and wants a flesh and blood man of her own.  Sheer desperation forced her into the predicament she is now in: buck-naked within a circle of candles in the desert and waiting for a spell to work.  Her good friend (and mystic), Vivian, assured her of the spell's potency.  Despite not believing in hocus pocus mumbo jumbo, Becky decided to give it a try.   When nerves and pride finally get the best of her, Becky dresses, packs up and heads home.  Frustrated and embarrassed by her failed attempts, Becky drifts into a quiet slumber where her dream lover awaits.  She can't see his face because it's covered by his long, straight black hair.  She can see and touch his body, which she does to her heart's content.  Becky knows she has lost her mind when she awakens in her lonely, damp bed holding a feather worn by her lover.

Real life beckons, and Becky rushes to work soon after she awakes.  She is the owner of the Buckin' Bronco All Male Review and is interviewing for an open bartender position when she meets Rick.  He looks quite familiar to her, but she knows that she would have never forgotten his strong face or beautiful eyes.  But still, the way he moves pulls at her memory.  It's much later, after Rick is offered the bartender position, that Becky realizes he is none other than the man from her dream.

HOW TO CONJURE A MAN is more of a comical romance than a sexy erotic story.  There are a few hot sex scenes (like when Becky works the pole in the club like a pro when she thinks no one is watching) but the storyline is much more than a sex fest.  The character interaction is well planned, and it captures and holds your attention.

Becky is a shy and lonely woman who craves companionship and romance.  When she finally finds it, she is unsure if their feelings are a result of the spell or really everlasting.  Rick is on the rebound and is determined not to find another woman like his ex-wife.  His feelings for Becky are so intense that they frighten him because he has never wanted a woman as much as he wants her.

Fun and funny, HOW TO CONJURE A MAN will have you smiling from beginning to end.
