Erotic Paranormal Romance

Chinatown, Boston, Massachusetts - Present Day

You will know her by smooth ivory, deep jade, and gold silk...
While in Tibet, Dr. Jie Sing was bitten by a werewolf, and ever since that time he has used his expertise in Tai Chi to keep his beast at bay. After losing the battle this past full moon, Li Yun Po, the man who raised Jie after his parents died in Tiananmen Square, tells Jie that his destiny awaits in America: his soul mate. Heart pounding, Jie sets off for the only place Li can direct him to -- Boston. The description Li gives Jie isn't very helpful, but armed with that knowledge, Jie ends up in Chinatown, and it's not long after that that he finds the woman meant for him.

Do not fear the werewolf's kiss...
Megan Phillips has struggled for months to cope with the loss of her beloved grandfather, all while trying to run his shop. She still sees him in her dreams, but doesn't understand what his words mean. Grieving and being hounded by businessmen who wish to buy her out, Megan is not prepared for the onslaught of feelings she has when she meets Jie Sing. Though Megan knows he's a stranger, she can't help but trust Jie, and soon craves the tenderness he bestows upon her, something Megan has never felt except from her grandfather. But she can sense that Jie is keeping something from her. Will her love diminish when she learns what Jie is?

But Jie isn't the only wolf who has come to Chinatown looking for his mate. A much more sinister man with the same abilities as Jie is also looking for Megan, and he'll stop at nothing to make sure Megan belongs to him, and no other.

A very spiritual and romantic book, KISS OF THE WEREWOLF is a well-written tale of true love and destiny. Though the romance moves a bit too swiftly, it doesn't have that rushed feeling due to how realistically Sedonia Guillone portrays Jie and Megan. Two lonely souls have found each other, and despite the obstacles that stand in their way, be it paranormal or emotional, both are determined to make their love last. I really enjoyed the feel of being immersed into the Chinese culture, and Ms. Guillone does a great job of using it as a character itself, without it overwhelming the book. The villain of the piece is a surprise, since the author likes to trick readers into thinking they know just what's going on. This is the second installment of Sedonia Guillone's Tao of Love series, but it's not necessary to have read the first title.

An erotic tale that focuses more on romance than sex, KISS OF THE WEREWOLF will be a delight to many.
