Erotic Paranormal Romance

Hailey Peters would like to be able to help her best friend Karol, but until Karol is ready to leave her verbally and emotionally abusive husband, there’s little Hailey can do.   Which is difficult to take, considering Hailey is a powerful witch.  The rules in place by the council (of paranormals), and the laws that the mundanes (non-magical) are trying to pass, Hailey is between a rock and a hard place.  Which is why, when Hailey’s aunt suggests going to Darrel Indigo for help, Hailey reluctantly agrees.

Growing up, Darrel was a scrawny mundane who constantly played pranks on all the girls, but it turns out that Darrel is an empath whose ability had been blocked.  Now, not only does he have some power, he’s also filled out and grown into a dangerously sexy man.  Hailey is immediately attracted to the man who explains and apologizes for his youthful behavior, and when they use his gift to check on Karol, a bond is formed between Hailey and Darrel.

To help Karol, Hailey and Darrel will have to break the rules, and learn trust each other completely.

MAGIC’S TOUCH is an interesting erotic tale with both paranormal and political elements.  In the midst of worrying over their friend and trying to help her, Hailey and Darrel fall in lust and then love. The political aspect of the story involves laws that the government is trying to push through that would require any magical being (witches, mages, shifters, vampires, etc.) to be registered as a magic user, and the possibility of another law that would require them to obtain permission before having children.  All of these aspects of the story blend together seamlessly to create an engaging story in MAGIC’S TOUCH.
