In between the tales of Felicity, Lizzie, Hope, and Annie, are Faye’s own adventures, as she explores her sexual freedom with Mark (from the bar) and Liam, the real estate agent. As Faye learns more about the history of the mansion, will she be able to walk away from it all?

Bonnie Edwards pulls readers into the lore and history of a former brothel that makes for fascinating reading. Faye is a woman who thinks she knows what she wants, but hasn’t really discovered who she is. She’s stuck in an engagement because she thinks it’s right for her, but then proceeds to enter into a brief sexual affair with not one, but two men. Every time she closes her eyes, Belle appears and another story about one of the brothel’s ladies is told. It doesn’t take much for Faye to begin to relate to them and come to care what happens to Perdition House. Even though there are paranormal aspects in MIDNIGHT CONFESSIONS, it’s done with a light, believable touch that will have readers wanting more stories about the ladies of Perdition House.

Faye might be considered a loose character by bedding a stranger so easily, and a bit blind because she can’t see how her fiancé is wrong for her, but once she achieves her sexual freedom, she’s unstoppable. Mark starts out as the one night stand that isn’t easily forgotten, as he provides the release which Faye needed. Will he show up at the end of MIDNIGHT CONFESSIONS? Or is it Liam, or even Collin, who will remain by Faye’s side?  You’ll have to read to find out. The sex is hot, sizzling enough to singe fingers and other body parts, but the interwoven stories of each of the women of Perdition House is what makes MIDNIGHT CONFESSIONS a must read.
