Slade
Jackson’s investigation into a serial killer has led him to Meredith
Craine’s door. Her husband was implicated in similar murders not
too long ago and his subsequent mysterious death has raised a few
eyebrows. Slade needs proof that he is actually dead to determine
if they have a copy cat or something else all together. He didn’t
expect the impact Meredith has on him.
Suddenly, Slade is immersed in a world he never knew existed. The
stuff of fantasies, or nightmares depending on whether you’re on the
menu, has come to life right in front of him and, instead of being
afraid, Slade is more interested in exploring the attraction between
himself and Meredith. Unfortunately, the serial kill also seems to
want Meredith. Can Slade stop him before she becomes his next
victim?
After
choosing a serial killer for her husband, Meredith Craine has no
faith in her personal choices in MOUNTAIN RENDEZVOUS. She’d rather
be alone than hurt her family any further. But Slade Jackson is not
a man who will take no for an answer. Seeing as he’s not exactly
‘normal’ himself, he easily sees past the vampire to the woman
underneath and it’s that woman that he wants. First, though, he’ll
have to fight someone else for that honor. A wonderful supporting
cast of family and friends rounds out the story offering glimpses of
a previous story featuring Meredith’s sister, though enough
background is given that MOUNTAIN RENDEZVOUS can stand on its own.
The
attraction between Meredith and Slade ignites quickly and it’s not
long before their hearts are engaged as well. Check out MOUNTAIN
