SACRIFICED is a paranormal adventure that captivates and arouses one's curiosity and interest. Brody loves Julia but knows that until the hunters stop coming after him she'll never be safe. Leaving her is the hardest thing he does and staying away, with the bond between them, is horrible. Their bodies craves one another. No other will do. Julia still loves Brody even though he's such a jerk. When she uncovers a secret, Julia's heart lightens a bit. Maybe just maybe Brody still loves her and if she can just get him to let down the barriers long enough to see into his mind, she might see the truth. The sexual tension between Brody and Julia is palpable and one can feel it all the way down to their toes. The sex between them is emotional and torrid. Secondary characters include several of Julia's friends, one of whom is Brynn. Brynn is a tough woman and an even tougher fighter. Something from her past will be revealed and depending on how you look at it, it might not be a good secret to uncover. Other characters include a couple of ancients, with secrets to share. And boy, one of those is a real shocker. Then there's Colin, a human, who Brody took in when he was a young boy and has been raising ever since. Colin is funny, cocky, and so cute. I won't reveal some of the others or their role in the story for that would give away a plot twist or two.
