Erotic Paranormal Romance/Time-Travel
One minute Skylar Creighton is being confronted by an injured
homeless man, and the next, she's aboard the Red Sky, a pirate ship
manned by Rand Edward Jamison. The only thing Skylar can figure out
is that the green gem the homeless man thrust into her hands sent
her hurtling back in time, and straight into the sexy arms of Rand,
a man Skylar's been fantasizing about for a long time. After all,
fantasizing is all she has time for due to a terminal illness. But
will finding true love give Skylar the momentum she needs to live
on?
When Rand first meets Skylar, he believes her to be an assassin sent
by his sworn enemy, Owain Cutler. But one look at her has Rand
believing that Skylar is actually the reincarnation of his wife,
Emma, and he will do everything to protect her. But just who is he
protecting? A beautiful, lush woman with her own spirit? Or is he
too busy clinging to a lost love that he can't see what's in front
of him? Either way, now that Rand has Skylar, he's not going to let
anything happen to her...even if that means sending her back to her
own time.
A tantalizing story about second chances, THIS TIME FOREVER is the
tale of two people who'd given up not only on love, but themselves.
Together they realize that their love can conquer anything as long
as they fight for what they want. Both characters are haunted by
their own inner demons, especially Skylar, but neither bemoans their
fate. There are a couple of surprises throughout the book that I
don't wish to spoil, but readers need not worry...there is a happy
ending for our fearless couple.
Since this is part of The Collector series, it's best to have
read the previous titles, otherwise the motives of Audra Phelan and
Andrew Bryce Martin, the two who are responsible for matching each
character up, will be totally lost on those new to the books. But if
you have read them, sit back and enjoy THIS TIME FOREVER by Lucynda
Storey.
