Erotic Romantic Suspense

Lake Cumberland, Kentucky ~ Present Day

From the first time he laid eyes on Kelly Benton, Rowdy MacKay's heart belonged to no other. Yeah, he’s had women along the way, and even shared a few with his cousins, Dawg and Natches, earning them the name Nauti boys for the erotic games they like to play. But none of those women could ever take Kelly's place in his heart. After of eight years of fighting the burning need racing through his veins, and re-enlisting in the Marines to keep it under control, Rowdy is home to claim what's rightfully his...Kelly. However, instead of the smiling tease he's come to know and love, Rowdy is greeted by a woman in bulky clothing who is frightened of him. Rowdy's heart constricts, anger nearly overwhelms him. His Kelly, the woman he's loved since they were kids, has been hurt, and badly. It's time to find out what the hell happened and why none of his family told him about it.

Kelly Benton has loved Rowdy for as long as she can remember. Her love for him is a hunger too strong to ignore, and she'd decided the next time he came home, she'd show him that she was woman enough to take him on...and his cousins, Dawg and Natches. Oh, she'd heard the rumors about the Mackay cousins and their sex games and other naughty things they like to do to a willing woman, but she didn't care. All she wanted was Rowdy, any way she could get him. Then in a flash everything changed. A stalker invaded her home and raped her in a manner that still left her a virgin, all the while whispering he loved her. With each cut of the knife he said she was his good girl. Though he was stopped, but never caught, Kelly hides behind the walls of her mother and stepfather's home knowing he isn't done with her. The phone calls are proof of that. Now Rowdy has returned and Kelly is afraid to face him. For years all she's thought about is being Rowdy's girl, loving him and being loved in return. Now she wonders how he will feel once he learns the truth.

Rowdy, Dawg, and Natches come up with a plan to bring Kelly's stalker out into the open and end this hell once and for all. However, the plan calls for them to flaunt their relationship -- hers with all three men -- in the SOB's face and draw him out. Will it work or will Kelly become his victim once more?

Danger, arousal, heat, and hunger are the main ingredients in the wild new Nauti series by Lora Leigh. NAUTI BOY is an appropriate title for this story as Rowdy, Dawg, and Natches prove. Three cousins closer than brothers have a reputation in Lake Cumberland and don't give a whit about what anyone says. All three of them love Kelly, but it's Rowdy whom she belongs to. Rowdy's feelings for Kelly consume his every thought, waking and sleeping. The first time the lustful feelings stirred in him, Rowdy knew it was time to leave otherwise he'd take a minor to his bed, and ruin all their lives. Each time he returned home, Kelly was older but still not ready for everything Rowdy wanted from her. Now Rowdy knows it's time, as do Dawg, Natches, and Kelly. The attack on Kelly is like a heavy curtain between her and Rowdy and he feels responsible. If only he'd made her his the last time he was home none of this would have happened. The love Rowdy feels for Kelly is evident in every move, touch, look, and kiss.  Kelly is a beautiful, sexy woman who hides her femininity behind oversized t-shirts and sweatpants. Her attacker took a part of her that she can never get back and that makes her mad. Though she was the victim, Kelly feels somehow responsible for the attack -- she shouldn't have left the window open, she shouldn't have worn such revealing clothing, etc. But Rowdy won't stand for her misplaced guilt and tells her so in no uncertain terms. The rape was bad enough, but he’ll be damned if he'll allow the bastard to make her feel responsible.  Rowdy has come back for her and he intends to make her his…for a lifetime.

Secondary characters are mostly Mackays; Ray, her stepfather and Rowdy's daddy, Maria, Kelly's mother and Ray's wife; and of course Dawg and Natches. There are a few secrets hinted at about Dawg and Natches and this reviewer can't wait to uncover them. And I have to give a big "well done" to Ms. Leigh about keeping the identity of her stalker under wraps until the very end. The shock factor alone was enough to make me shake in my boots.

Kudos to Lora Leigh for writing an emotional story with twists and turns, and enough action - in bed and out - to keep this reviewer turning pages long into the night. If you're like me and enjoy a good romance filled with suspense and hot sex, then pick up your copy of NAUTI BOY today.
