Erotic Anthology Contemporary Romance

Three seemingly ordinary women will meet an actual Prince, but are they really Princess material? Will kissing a Prince turn them into frogs, or break their hearts? Read on if Princes and love appeal to you...

Prince Zain
Deep in America's heartland – Present Day

Prince Zain of Mataar is, reluctantly, spending his thirtieth birthday far away from his country or visiting the hot spots around the world. He's chosen Illinois as the place for a business trip and to hide out. The Royal Prophecy says that the woman who kisses a bachelor prince at midnight on his thirtieth birthday is destined to be his bride. Zain is in no hurry to get married, so hiding out here, where no one knows about the prophecy, seems ultimately safe to him. Until the night before his birthday when he goes to a nightclub and sees a woman in a red dress dancing, and his mind shuts down and it's like he's in a trance. Her sensuous body calls him from across the room, and without a word, they kiss...

Lauren Ballinger is looking for a Prince to kiss, and the nightclub is the only place Prince Zain would go to in their small town. It's a long story, but Lauren and her friends had each written down what they wanted to accomplish ten years after graduation. Except their friend Cheryl had died, so each remaining friend decides to do one of Cheryl's wishes in her honor, and Lauren picks Kiss a Prince. Now, all Lauren has to do is get in and get out and everything will be good. How to find a Prince in a filled nightclub? In the middle of the club Lauren gets up on a raised platform and dances her heart out. If she doesn't get his attention, at least she'll be able to see him, whatever a Prince looks like.

What happens when a Prince proposes and a commoner refuses? Well, sometimes using sex can change minds, only Lauren is a hard nut to crack, not to mention hotter than fire in bed. Looks like that idea sucks.

Read RED-HOT AND ROYAL to find out how a Prince persuades his Princess to marry him.

Crown Prince Rafael
East Coast of the USA – Present day

The day Shayla Pendley decides to act out one of the various romantic scenarios she conjures in her mind is the day life changes for her in unknown ways. Known as the campus romantic matchmaker and advisor for star-crossed lovers, she is now involved in helping Prince Luca of Tiazza. His older brother is coming to visit Wolfskill University, and Luca doesn't believe brother Rafael will appreciate his girlfriend Cathy, so Shayla has been talked into helping him. If she acts totally outrageous in some way, Luca's brother will actually be relieved to meet nice, normal Cathy.

Shayla works at the University, and small town life fits her just right. She lives for romance novels, chick flicks, and slow romantic songs give her plenty of expertise to counsel others younger than herself. After thorough planning, well, actually working off the cuff, Shayla is caught off guard by the charisma and good looks of Crown Prince Rafael, not to mention their instant connection. Can Rafael stay away from his brother's "girlfriend", and can Shayla resist a man the likes of which she may never see again?

Read RED-HOT AND ROYAL to determine if true love can ever be deterred, and if a Prince can withstand temptation

Prince Santos
West Coast of the USA - Present Day

Kylee Dawes is going to meet Prince Santos at an exclusive Santa Barbara beach resort as part of her job. Kylee is an image consultant, and Santos sure does need her help. Kylee's earlier life was a whirlwind of life on the beach, doing each and every outrageous thing she could think of, until one day she realizes she is the laughingstock of the area. Since then she's turned her back on her former life in dress, attitude, and she has refused to even look at the beach or sand since morphing into a respectable woman. Prince Santos will test all her determination to avoid temptation.

Prince Santos lives in board shorts and sometimes flip flops, and becoming respectable is not his choice, but a decree has come down. Because Santos is fourth in line for the throne of Isla de la Perla, it's been determined that he is to be the new international diplomatic face of their country. Suits, meetings, parties, urbane talk, international protocol and how to talk to every important person he meets is to be his life from now on. If this woman thinks it is going to be easy to change his whole personality, she's got another thing coming.

Read RED-HOT AND ROYAL and find out if Kylee can break down Santos, or if Santos will get through Kylee's hard shell to the hidden woman underneath.

Well, all I can say is the accompanying cast of characters, friends, brothers, advisors and many other delightful people are also vital to these stories. Every one is a polished jewel and fits perfectly into their story. You will love getting to know all of them.

Susanna Carr has written an absolutely brilliant novel, full of charm, humor, Princes, sex, and each man is hunkier than the other, and each woman is determined not to give in to their charms. Each story is not separated in the book, rather there is a chapter or two about one Prince and then on to the story of the next. In this way we get just enough to titillate us about one couple, and can't wait to get back to read their story, until you read the next chapter and can't wait to read THEIR story. Truly, Ms. Carr tempts and teases us by making each chapter better than the previous one.

RED-HOT AND ROYAL fulfills all my requirements, the stories enthralled me from the first page to the last and made it virtually impossible to put down. Spunky women who know their own minds without being pushy and strong willed alpha men who don't take "no" for an answer make this the perfect summer read, so what else can I do but give it our La Grande Mort award. Romance lovers—this one's for you!
