Erotic Contemporary Romance – Short Story

Rating: Red Hot!

Brittney Jones and her two girlfriends recently won the lottery and one of the first things they did was hire financial planner Charles Manning. He has proven to be savvy as he directs the women in money matters, but there’s something about Charlie that intrigues Brittney and has her fantasizing what he’d be as a lover. Then, one day while Brittney and Charlie are talking, their meeting turns into a sexual encounter. Will this be a one-time thing, or has business become pleasure?

Brittney had a childhood that no one would want, and eventually ended up on her own. All she wants is security, but she has built a wall so that most people don’t really get to know the true Brittney. Charlie is curious about her, suspecting that she’s created an illusion of “never getting into relationships” as a way to not deal with her past. Charlie represents commitment and stability, and it’s up to Brittney to decide if she wants to take their relationship farther.

As for Charlie, he’s considered a geek by others, but deep down is a man who has a sexual appetite to match Brittney’s. He realizes he shouldn’t get involved with a client, but heck, she’s a temptation he cannot resist. Their sexual encounters are erotic and sensual, and each time is better than the last. Can there be any future for this unlikely couple?

Sexy and hot, with a couple on a journey to discover each other and themselves, FORTUNE’S DECEPTION is a pleasure to read from the first page to the last. I can’t wait to see if Karen Erickson has stories planned for Brittney’s two friends. Meanwhile, head on over to Samhain and grab your copy of FORTUNE’S DECEPTION.
