Erotic Contemporary Romance – Short Story

Los Angeles, California area – Present Day

It’s Vicky’s wedding day and she’s about to marry the man of her dreams, Brady. But all that comes crashing down when Brady sends Vicky a note ending their engagement. Why did he do it? Vicky doesn’t know why and is devastated. Brady’s brother Rob is going to get to the bottom of it and perhaps salvage the relationship. After all, Brady and Vicky are perfect together.

Brady is obsessed with a woman from his past. He met her in high school and one day had the most incredible sex with her. In fact, it was unforgettable. He knows he cannot marry Vicky without meeting the lady who’s tormented him for years. All he knows is her first name is Torrie. His brother sets off on a search to locate Torrie, who’s mysteriously disappeared from the radar of life. Will Rob be successful and will Brady get the woman he wants?

MISS MARCH is an unusual story in that the hero and heroine have already met and are about to marry when the story opens. Vicky is so happy that you feel for her when she gets the note from Brady canceling out. Despite the jerk way he dumps Vicky, Brady comes across as man torn between two lovers, even if one is someone he hasn’t seen in years. Of course, it won’t take readers long to put two and two together, but isn’t that part of the fun of a story – guessing the outcome? With MISS MARCH, you won’t be far off the mark. There are not a lot of sex scenes, but when they do occur, get ready to fan yourself, while the plot to uncover Torrie will keep you flipping the pages in eager anticipation.

Madison Hayes continues to be one of my favorite authors and I highly recommend MISS MARCH for readers who love their romance sizzling and entertaining. Be sure to stop by Ellora’s Cave and grab this gem of a tale.
