Las Vegas, Nevada and Colorado - Present day

Renny Clarkson has been in love with her boss, Colt Hardin, for over a year now. But she knows it’s hopeless, as Colt has hated women ever since his first wife betrayed him with his two best friends. However, on a business trip to Las Vegas, Renny is stunned when a drunken Colt asks her to marry him. Convinced by his brother Bolt, that it might just be the best thing for both of them, Renny agrees.

Colt Hardin thinks the incredible hangover he’s suffering is going to be the worst part of his day, but that’s before he finds a tiny set of clothes in his hotel room that belong to none other than his shy assistant, Renny. And then there’s the blood on the sheets, and Renny herself, crying in the shower. What has he done? No one could be more surprised than Colt when Renny reveals the truth, they got married the night before.

Can a man who hates women and a woman with little to no confidence in herself find love together, or is their relationship doomed to failure? Anything can happen in Vegas, and I’m laying my bet on the Queen of hearts.

MISS SEPTEMBER is full of both heartfelt emotion and some of the most scorching sex to ever grace an e-book. Colt is a man of contrasts, while he’s dangerous looking, he’s also the kindest man you’d ever want to meet, of course, it’s a bit hard to tell as he’s been so bitter since his wife cheated on him. In fact, Renny herself probably wouldn’t be attracted to him if she hadn’t known that underneath his cold aloofness was a sweet and vulnerable man. Colt finds himself amazed at Renny, no, not just because she actually married him, but because of all the new things he’s learning about her. She isn’t the backwards, socially inadequate woman he once believed her to be. Okay, she is a bit of an introvert, but get her going, and the sweet little thing develops a backbone of steel and a look that can shoot fire. Colt would know, as he spends a lot of time trying to get Renny to leave him, of course, that’s before he realizes that she’s the best thing to ever happen to him, at work, or out of it. It’s not often that a book shows what happens as a man and woman fall in love, after the wedding, but that’s just what happens to Renny and Colt. Will their marriage be just the start of their happily-ever-after, or will they decide that what happens in Vegas, should stay in Vegas?

Grab your favorite cold drink, and turn the air-conditioning on high (yep, even you folks who live in the north) ‘cause MISS SEPTEMBER is sure to raise your internal temperature to a dangerous degree. Don’t believe me? Well, you’ll just have to read it to believe it.
