Dr. Maddie Simons can’t believe that the think tank she works for, Bellows, has hired Tim Foxmor to fix their security problems.  In college, Tim had been the roommate of Maddie’s boyfriend, and Tim was the one that “outed” her as a genius doing post-graduate studies, which caused her boyfriend to dump her and all of her friends to start treating her like a freak.  For the first time in her life, Maddie had felt normal, and she sees Tim as the one responsible for taking that away from her.  Even now, she still can’t get past it, so she decides to get a little revenge.  She’ll teach Tim what it feels like to be dumped.

Learning that Maddie works at Bellows was the final deciding factor in Tim’s decision to take this job.  In college, he’d had feelings for Maddie, but immediately after she and his roommate broke up, she left town, and Tim never had a chance to ask her out.  He plans to change that now, and he’s pleasantly surprised when Maddie makes the first move.

But how will he feel when he learns the truth?

ONE HOT EXPERIMENT is a sexy reunion romance.  Skipping several grades and entering college at thirteen always had Maddie feeling out of place, and seeing Tim again brings back all those old inadequacies.  With the help of the pheromones she is experimenting on, Maddie hopes to seduce Tim, then dump him.  She hadn’t planned on developing feelings for him however.  For Tim, being with Maddie is a dream come true, and he can’t quite believe it at times. 

There is a secondary plot involving the break-ins at Bellows that have brought Tim’s security firm in, but it doesn’t really distract from the romance between Maddie and Tim.  An entertaining tale, check out ONE HOT EXPERIMENT.
