Charlotte - Present Day

After a fabulous romantic weekend, Ali Whitmore had a fight with her boyfriend and they broke up.  It’s been a month since that fateful weekend, and Ali is still hurting over the loss of the man she loves, but agrees with her friend Beth that it’s time to start going out again. Ali reluctantly agrees to attend a masked Halloween party in two weeks with Beth and Beth’s boyfriend.  But on the night of the party, Beth is too ill to attend, and Ali doesn’t feel like sticking around.  Until she sees the sexy pirate.

For six weeks, Trey Monahan has regretted the fight that caused Ali to break up with him.  He loves her, but when she suggested moving in together he was so surprised that he mishandled the conversation and now she’s gone.  He wants to get back together with Ali, and with the help of his best friend’s girlfriend, Beth, Trey has a plan.  He just hopes that Ali will find his pirate interesting enough to give him a chance.

A sexy short story, in UNMASK ME two lovers get a second chance.  Ali and Trey had been dating for three years, and Ali could envision a future between them: marriage, kids, the works.  But when she mentions that her lease will be up soon and maybe they could live together, Trey is taken aback.  He feels that things are fine the way they are, and hadn’t really contemplated taking the next step in their relationship.  A month of missing each other proves that they belong together, and one magical night opens the door to that happening.

An entertaining tale, check out UNMASK ME.
