Boisdemer; Montgermane – Present

Sisters Gwendolyn and Eugenia are Magic Fairy Godmothers and their romance ‘help’ has made for very loving alliances between the family of King Alexandre de la Croix of Boisdemer and that of Harriet Jones from Canada.  Philip de la Croix will soon marry Catharine Jones and Peter Jones has become engaged to Rachel de la Croix. Now, Gwendolyn and Eugenia have ambitions for Sophie de la Croix.  They would very much like a prince for her.  But, where in the world is one worthy of her?

Stephan Benet, Crown Prince of Montgermane, has an undeserved reputation as a modern-day rakehell.  His best friend is Michael de la Croix, Sophie’s oldest brother.  He has come to Boisdemer to be part of Philip’s wedding.  He takes one look at Sophie and is knocked off his traces.  Two more gorgeous and intelligent young royals would be hard to find.   But where Stephan is open and gregarious, Sophie is reserved.  She is kind and generous with her time and support for the Home for Children.  For herself, the media-dubbed Ice Princess, there will be no husband or children.  Stephan has other ideas.

Then, there is the matter of a goof on the press release about the upcoming Medieval Fair.  A competition has been proposed and the winner will receive Sophie’s hand in marriage.  Wrong! The copy should have read that the prize was Sophie’s standard, a banner with her colors!  But, as often happens, hardly anyone will listen to the real truth and Sophie is livid.  So is Stephan.  Telford Gaynor, a British dotcom mogul, has his own plans.

Sigh.  After reading this hot, super-sticky romance, I want to be twenty again and meet a prince like Stephan.  At every turn, A PRINCE FOR SOPHIE is a delight.  It is overflowing with love, scintillating dialogue, and warm, friendly characters.  Morgan Ashbury has a light, magical touch all her own with this story.  A PRINCE FOR SOPHIE goes on the top keeper shelf.
