Erotic Contemporary Romance

When Beth Cordova escaped a difficult situation and joined the Penitents at age seventeen, she thought she’d finally found peace, or at least safety as everyone from her old life believed her to be dead.  Working the land in this Amish-like existence is hard, but soothing at the same time.  Unfortunately, Beth has been feeling restless of late and it’s not until she sees a new joiner to the group that she understands why.

Stephen Trent is on assignment from his newspaper to expose the underbelly, if one exists, of this commune that many believe to be a weird cult.  Personally, he just thinks his editor is trying to punish him for exceeding his spending limit writing his last article.  Then he sees the beauty across the dining hall and is immediately smitten.  There is something familiar about her, but that’s not what is sending the tingles through his system.  But, how is he going to talk with her in a society that doesn’t allow men and women to interact?

It’s not too long before Beth and Stephen find their way to each other and to answering the attraction sizzling between them.  The only problem is that the Penitents take a hard stance against those who break the rules, especially when a few of the Founders crave the virginal Beth themselves.

Suppressed sexuality and love are at the core of Cathy Yardley’s CRAVE.  Beth Cordova thought she could live simply with the Penitents for the rest of her life.  But the needs and desires of a young girl are vastly different from those of a woman, and when those desires make themselves known, ignoring them is not an option.  So, suddenly temptation has entered Beth’s life in the form of a new male Penitent.  Is she willing to give up everything for one bite of the apple?

A sizzling modern twist on the story of Snow White, complete with a wicked Queen, CRAVE requires a glass of ice as Beth learns what she’s been missing.  An erotic romance with a few suspenseful twists and turns to keep things interesting, CRAVE is an entertaining diversion.
