Jade Johnstone owns her own house cleaning company. This morning, as she arrives at a house just as she has done for the past four months, she is in for quite a shock. She sees a man sleeping in bed in all his naked glory. Even though she has only met Reed Daniels one time before, she was a goner because she found him to be so sexy. Instead of sending one of her staff, she decided to clean Reed’s house herself and give it her own little personal TLC. She thought the house would be empty as usual and is now at a loss about what to do. What she does know is that she can’t stop staring at this very muscular and hunky man. As she reaches out and touches him, she notices he is burning up. The man has a fever! And before she can go call a doctor, he grabs her and slowly starts to make love to her.

Reed Daniels thinks he is having a wonderful sex dream as he is enjoying kissing and touching a lovely brown skinned woman who makes him all hot and bothered. Suddenly, he realizes this is no dream, and before he can have actual intercourse with her, he wakes up and she quickly stops him from going any further. See, Jade has never had sex vaginally, rather, enjoying just anal and oral sex. Plus, most of her past relationships have been dull in bed. But after being under Reed, she is more than willing to let him plunder her to heights of true ecstasy. But Jade is a black woman trying to run a business and take some college courses on the side. What would an older, sophisticated white man like Reed want with her?

But Reed does want Jade, regardless of the color of her skin or her profession. And there are even more shocks in store for both because Reed is Jade’s teacher in her Accounting 101 class. She can never have anything sexual with Reed now; he is her teacher! Reed doesn’t care, and he will try to do his best to romance Jade, and perhaps she will allow him into her bed, and hopefully her heart, without any reservations.

From the moment Reed grabs Jade in his fever-induced sleep and tries to have his way with her, DREAM LOVER is not a typical run of the mill romance. Marilyn Lee takes topics such as race, age, and intimacy issues and writes a romance that tries to break the mold. I did find the situation between Reed and Jade a bit far fetched, especially the first time they meet, but overall their situation is a bit humorous.

I really enjoyed the aspect of an older man falling for a younger woman who thinks she will never be good enough for him. Reed is simply amazing, especially the way he treats Jade, and Jade just wants to find the right man to love and not get hurt in the process. And when these two hit the sheets, it is some hot loving between the two. For one sexy older man/younger woman romance, why not try DREAM LOVER?
