California - Present Day

Gillian Foxe is incensed when she overhears the nasty gossip concerning her new co-worker.  Just because Lennon Wright hasn’t shown interest in this particular woman doesn’t mean that he’s gay.  And, having been the subject of this woman’s lies before, Gillian defends Lennon.  After venting about it in his office, she decides that if Lennon wasn’t such a nice, shy guy, other people at the company would know him, and things like this wouldn’t happen.  But, in the two months Lennon’s been here, the only person he’s really talked to is her.  Gillian decides it’s her duty to make sure that Lennon comes out of his shell.

Lennon Wright has a bit of a secret from Gillian – the “hush-hush project” that he was hired to do is to make assessments on the employees in order for the company to downsize.  He doesn’t want to make friends at this company, but Gillian has worked her way past his defenses.  When she becomes so insistent about him joining her and their coworkers for a drink, he agrees, yet not for the reason she thinks.  He had every intention of asking Gillian out once his assignment was completed, but if Gillian thinks she’s going to set Lennon up with a woman, he’s not going to be able to wait that long.

It doesn’t take too long for Gillian to realize that shyness is not really one of Lennon’s problems or, that while finding him attractive and being attracted to him are two separate things, she’s only been kidding herself that she doesn’t fall under both categories.  But how will she feel when she finds out his secret?

HE’S SO SHY is a light-hearted, erotic romance.  When Lennon’s business partners hear about him going to drinks with Gillian, they show up to meet her, and after a very enjoyable night they invite Gillian and her friend Minta to a party where anything - and everything - goes.  Gillian has just started to admit to herself that she’s attracted to Lennon when they are thrown into a very sensual situation together.  Though the lust she feels for him is a bit of a surprise to her, it is also built on a foundation of friendship, so the sudden sexual side to their relationship doesn’t feel out of place.

Secondary characters include Minta, and Lennon’s business partners, Finn, Wyatt and Jonas all of whom add their two cents where Gillian and Lennon’s relationship is concerned – and plenty of comic relief also.  A fun, sexy book that was difficult to put down, don’t miss HE’S SO SHY.
