Foxton, England – Present Day

After Alison Palmer’s unfaithful husband’s untimely death, she decides to pack her bags and leave Los Angeles.  Ali heads to London to spend time with her good friend, Ginny, and contemplate how to get her life back together.  Ginny is a successful realtor who finds Ali a temporary housekeeping job at Foxton Hall.  Desperate for some alone time, Ali accepts the position and meets Nicholas Berringford on the train ride to Foxton.  Nick kindly offers Ali a ride to Foxton Hall but appears really uneasy when she invites him into the large mansion.  Ali looks around Foxton Hall and immediately feels a sense of homecoming.  The house just seems to welcome her and makes her feel safe.  Ali’s time at Foxton Hall is limited to two months and she is ready to enjoy every minute of her stay in the empty house and in Nick’s arms.

Ali meet’s Nick’s twin brother, Nathan, soon after her arrival at Foxton Hall.  Nathan is a charming ladies man who quickly works his way into Ali’s heart and in her bed.  Ali feels a little wicked for sleeping with both men, but she knows that this opportunity is just too good to pass.  When she builds up the courage to tell Nick about her relationship with Nathan, she is in for a surprise.

INSEPARABLE is a fun paranormal tale told in first person narrative from Alison’s point of view.  Ali’s a witty and likeable character with just the right mix of pain and mystery.  As readers find out more about her past, we appreciate much of her inner struggles during the story.  Nick and Nathan are sexy twins who have always shared everything together.  The bond between these identical brothers is strong.  The sex scenes in INSEPARABLE are not arousing or explicit and are very brief.  The setup of the story is masterfully written, but by the middle of the story, the fire and excitement noticeably dies down.  I was expecting at least one ménage scene, but no such luck.  I would recommend INSEPARABLE to readers looking for a mildly erotic tale with paranormal elements told in an engaging tone.
