Erotic Contemporary Romance - Multi-racial

Stanton, North Carolina – Present Day

Ever since she became the executive director of Girls Unlimited, a non-profit organization, and met the Board of Directors, Candace Cain has had erotic dreams about Davis Strong, one of the group’s biggest supporters.  He’s taken pains to ignore her and the sparks that fly between them, as has Candy.  Unfortunately, her subconscious has no compunction about continually raising that point while she sleeps.  Will Candy go after what she wants if the opportunity presents itself?

Davis Strong firmly believes Candace Cain is too young for the director’s job.  Come on, she goes by Candy Cain with the girls.  How can anyone take her seriously?  Davis freely admits to himself that his opinion is colored by his deep attraction to Candy, one that he has been fighting tooth and nail.  But when he needs help with his own daughter, Candy is the first person Davis approaches for help.

A passion has been simmering between Candy and Davis since they first met.  Will they tend the flame properly and lovingly or let it blaze out of control, hurting themselves and their families?

A multi-racial relationship sparks to life in JUST LIKE CANDY.  Presumptions and assumptions tangle themselves around Candy and Davis, leading to fits and starts in their romance.  Davis is still dealing with the pain and guilt from his marriage and how to raise his daughter in spite of it.  Candy is both his life preserver and unattainable goal all rolled up in a spunky ball he can’t keep his hands off of.  Candy has her own baggage to work through, though she’s ready to step into Davis’ life and problems If only he’d let her.

Secondary characters include Davis’ feisty daughter and enigmatic sister as well as the very opinionated Sister Pauline, Candy’s assistant.  As Candy and Davis flirt with each other and a future, each of these characters provides opportunities for their relationship to grow, whether through humor or adversity.

While JUST LIKE CANDY earns its erotic rating, it also has a lot of heart that will charm readers until the last page.  Check it out and see for yourself.
