Bermuda - Present Day

As a reward for stepping in when the restaurant’s manager had emergency surgery, Megan Frost’s boss gifted her with a trip to Bermuda.  Three months of non-stop work has left Megan ready for some fun in the sun, and hopefully a very fun vacation fling.  Instead, on her first day on the island, Megan falls asleep in the sun and ends up horribly sunburned.  Hoping for some relief, Megan lays on the tiled kitchen floor and – once again – falls asleep.

Gabriel Law, also known as the Dark Angel of Rock, needs the peace and quiet of his friend Ash’s island home to finish the songs for his new album.  When he first sees the naked woman on the kitchen floor, he assumes that she is the “special surprise” Ash set up for him, but then she explains that Ash’s wife loaned her the use of the cottage.  Realizing that Megan doesn’t recognize him, Gabriel is relieved and intrigued.  Though this vacation is supposed to be distraction-free, maybe Megan is just what he needs to inspire him.

The best of plans often don’t go the way we had hoped, and in LAW OF AVERAGES, this fact leads to both some very humorous situations, and a sensual love story.  Red streaked black hair, body piercings and eye-liner aren’t the types of things Megan usually finds attractive in a man, but something about Gabriel has her wishing otherwise.  After twenty years as a rock star, Gabriel is a little burned out on the scene and the groupies, and Megan is a refreshing change.  The attraction between them sizzles, but is backed up by a quickly growing friendship.

Enjoyable characters and erotic love scenes combine to make LAW OF AVERAGES a captivating novel that I highly recommend.
