Paris, France – Present Day

A former supermodel turned millionaire fashion designer, Odette Gailard runs a successful company called Oh! Oh! Odette. While she is getting ready for one of her fashion shows, she notices a very attractive American man sitting in the front row. He seems out of place with his faded jeans and shirt, but Odette can't deny that he is gorgeous. She finds out that his name is Bryan Bachman and he bought a raffle ticket for Odette's charity and ended up winning the seat. Odette would love nothing more than to meet Bryan, the California surfer, but first duty calls.

Bryan decided to take a trip to Paris before he goes back to school where he is studying for his masters in marine biology from the University of California. Bryan finds the models on the catwalk too skinny and impersonal, but another woman behind the curtain catches his eye. Bryan soon becomes bored and tries to make a quick exit when he sees the woman in the back of the room. They make conversation and soon Bryan is inviting her out for something to eat. Before the night is over, they become better acquainted as they share a meal and some drinks. And after a few more drinks, Odette invites Bryan back to her apartment.

Both realize that they can only have a few nights together since Bryan will be heading back to California in a few days. That does not stop Bryan and Odette from having a steamy sexual night together where they both push each other's sexual boundaries. The next morning is a bit uncomfortable for both, but instead of discussing it, they decide to live for the moment and enjoy each other for the short time they have.

Bryan quickly finds out who Odette really is and confronts her because she failed to mention who she was. Odette apologizes to him, which he accepts. Because they both enjoy each other's company, both in and out of bed, Odette welcomes Bryan into her world of fashion. Odette's days are filled with business, but the nights in Bryan's arms are a dream come true. Anything goes between them, and nothing is off limits. Odette can't help but begin to feel more for Bryan than just lust and, in turn, Bryan begins to feel the same way. Then suddenly someone Odette trusts at work steals her ideas, and her whole world comes crashing down upon her.

Bryan may only have a few NIGHTS IN BLACK LACE with Odette, but it is well worth it, especially with the intimacies they share together. These two are very sexual creatures who have fallen quickly for one another and each has trust in the other. When it comes to sex, they know what their boundaries are and how far they can push their limits. Each love scene between Bryan and Odette is smoking hot, and Noelle Mack is one author who writes incredibly intense lovemaking between two people who are so in tune with one another.

Bryan and Odette are wonderful characters who bring great joy to the reading experience. Bryan is simply a good guy who loves his mother, has respect for women, and wants to have a little fun before he has to face the real world. Odette is everything French, and she embraces her lifestyle fully, but she also has incredible work ethics. Plus, she is a tiger in bed even though the world sees her as a lady. I really enjoyed how Noelle showed two side of the coin of Odette, and I can tell you that Bryan surely didn't mind in the least!

Some other characters who bring a lot to the story were Odette's gay assistant Marc who helps Bryan find a place to stay with himself, his boyfriend, Achille, and their cute little Chihuahua, Jimmy, who takes a strong liking to Bryan. There is also Lucie, who is so very happy that Odette, her employer, has found a man to enjoy. Even though these people seem to be a great support to Odette, there is some betrayal afoot among them because of the theft of Odette's designs.

NIGHTS IN BLACK LACE is a great story and one I really enjoyed. Noelle Mack gives the reader some insight on the fashion world in France.
