Bedlingham Manor, England - Present Day

Daisy Leaf had hoped that her 60's themed murder-mystery weekend would lead to a little fun with a handsome man.  Instead, her arrival is not only late, but humiliating, and the weekend isn’t a 60's theme, it’s for over 60's.  The only handsome man who isn’t an octogenarian is the hotel manager who is condescending – when he isn’t laughing at her.  Things only get worse when her “role” in the murder-mystery is that of a nun, who dies during the dessert course of the first meal.  Just what kind of fun weekend can she have with all of this?

Jake Weston is charmed by Daisy the moment he meets her.  Though he’s promised to set aside his womanizing ways for the six months he runs his family’s hotel, he knows that he’s going to have to have Daisy.  Joining her in the pool after her entertaining “death” turns out to be just as enjoyable as Jake had hoped and he wants the rest of the weekend to be the same.  But with his father and older brother waiting for him to mess things up, how can he manage to be with Daisy without getting caught?

PERFECT TIMING is a delightful erotic romance.  Daisy is the perfect blend of quirky and serious, and tends to get into a few tight spots, but always makes the best of the situation.  Jake is the charming bad boy, trying to behave and earn his father’s respect, but upon meeting Daisy, things start to change for him.  His father is retiring from managing the hotel, and has set up a way to decide which of the sons will take over for him.  Jake and his brother, Adrian, each have six months to see who makes the most profit, but there is also a stipulation: each of the brothers has to find a serious girlfriend.  Jake had decided to skip the girlfriend part, hoping that curbing his womanizing ways would be enough, but Daisy changes things for him, and he thinks he may be falling in love.

Making things difficult for Daisy and Jake’s relationship, is Adrian.  He doesn’t approve of Jake’s lifestyle, his ideas for the hotel, or Daisy.  While he’s not a very likable character at times, it would be interesting to see him get a story of his own.

PERFECT TIMING is both a fun and flirty romance and a steamy erotic read, and a story I highly recommend.
