Courtney wants to be Just Like Candy because of how sexy and self assured her co-worker is about men and sex. This former farm girl is sick of being average and boring and thinks one-night stands with gorgeous empty-headed men are the way to go. She soon finds out that she doesn't have to go very far for a gorgeous man to give her a ride, because Blaine is the perfect man for her. I found Blaine to be a very sweet guy who wants to do right by Courtney and not just use her for sex.

The subplot about a possible stalker brings Courtney and Blaine closer together, and Candy is also there to give Courtney some good advice. Even Courtney's roommate, Gail, tries to be the voice of reason to Courtney's new dating technique and has some valid reasons against it. Just Like Candy is one sexy romance for your sweet tooth to devour.

But, there is one small problem with her plan. His name is Ty Louis, and he is Candy's next-door neighbor and former friend with benefits.

Ty is a guilty pleasure Candy can hardly deny herself. Whenever these two are in a room together, their passions explode and they end up sleeping together. Ty gives Candy what she wants, even if the sex is sometimes rough and frenzied. Things have to come to an end between these two because Candy is looking for someone more permanent who is interested in marriage and children. Ty is definitely not ready for that whole package, even though he hates the fact that Candy is looking for Mr. Right, when he can give her what she wants...well, at least in the bedroom.

Ty is always there taunting Candy with his body and innuendos to the point that she may possibly have to move away to get out from under his sexual spell. Will Ty be willing to give Candy more than just hot sex to keep her in his life and finally admit that he wants Candy as more than just a friend to hop into bed with?

Hard Candy is a more risqué tale with Candy and her over friendly next-door neighbor who gives her body such good loving. I found this story to be a bit more enjoyable of the two because of the relationship Candy and Ty have. These two are very passionate people who seem ready to have sex at a moments notice. Maybe it helps that they are so right for each other even though they are both too stubborn to admit it.

Hard Candy is quite the sexy and scrumptious tale about two friends who originally just needed to release their pent up frustrations, become so much more in this really fun read by Jodi Lynn Copeland.

SWEET AND SINFUL is the perfect title for these two short stories, and Jodi Lynn Copeland shows perfectly that a woman's quest for the perfect partner, both in and out of bed, is closer than they can imagine. For a tantalizing read, definitely try SWEET AND SINFUL.
