Nevada - Present Day
As a wedding
coordinator at the Victoria Grand Hotel and Casino, Vivian Montrose
does not meet a lot of single men. On the one hand, that’s not a
bad thing since Viv isn’t looking to get married herself; but on the
other hand, she’s just caught sight of her latest client. Viv
decides that Fate must be smiling on her though, when the client,
J.R. Haddery, announces that he’s hiring her to coordinate his
cousin’s wedding – and J.R. is checking Viv out. While having an
affair with a client may cause problems with the promotion that Viv
is trying to earn, J.R. is just too gorgeous for her to resist.
Orphaned young,
J.R. grew up with his aunt and uncle, and his cousin, Dawn, is as
good as a sister to him. So, with his aunt planning a huge society
wedding back East, J.R. offers to pay for a smaller ceremony, which
is Dawn’s dream wedding. After meeting the coordinator, J.R.
decides it’s very important for him to work very closely with Viv to
make sure everything works out perfectly. He’d expected the heat
between them, yet J.R. is surprised when his feelings run deeper
than just lust. But will he be able to convince Viv to give
something more a chance?
A brief fling
turns into a whirlwind romance, VEGAS STYLE. Between her years as a
wedding coordinator, sometimes coordinating for repeat customers,
and her aunt’s many marriages, Viv has not intention of ever
marrying anyone. She is independent and career minded, but also
adventurous, so quick affairs are just her thing. J.R. though would
like to have a family of his own, and it doesn’t take him long to
realize that Viv is the one for him.
In addition to
Viv and J.R., we also meet the bride and groom, Dawn and Bruce, and
the maid-of-honor, Ginger – none of whom seem to interested in
planning a wedding. With her promotion riding on doing a good job
with this event, Viv finds herself scrambling to get the happy
couple involved. An entertaining story, check out VEGAS STYLE.
