One thing he hasn’t been able to get with all his power, is Charlie’s attention.

When Charlie’s brother, Will, gambles away a huge sum of money that neither can afford to pay back, Charlie is forced to approach Lynx, and make a bargain to repay the credits. The deal will put Lynx and Charlie in some very personal positions, and if Lynx has his way, she’ll realize that he’s not to be feared, in fact, he’s meant to be her mate.

Wow! CHARLIE’S BARGAIN with Lynx is a potent one indeed (trust me when I say it’s not emotions the Xorn feed on). Luckily, Charlie is a strong woman, in fact, it’s difficult to believe she was a member of high society. One would expect such a woman to be pampered and helpless, not to have the nerve to travel so far, and endure so much, just to keep her brother safe. What Charlie isn’t though, is aware of just what, and who, she wants in her life. Spending time with Lynx will teach her a lot about the world, and herself. Lynx is a scary man, no doubt about it. But, he’s also incredibly protective, determined, honorable and hell bent on having Charlie as his own, even if for only a short time. Strong and sexy, he’s nonetheless vulnerable when it comes to Charlie. Will Charlie and Lynx find a future together, or will CHARLIE’S BARGAIN be the ruin of them both? You’ll have to read this scintillating story to find out.

Though the story primarily focuses on Charlie and Lynx, there are a couple of secondary characters who must be mentioned. Charlie’s younger brother, Will, is stubborn and scared. His determination to protect his sister and rescue them both is what gets him into so much debt. Luckily, that decision is also what brings Charlie and Lynx into closer contact. Roger Bradley Simkins III is Charlie’s former fiancée. Though their marriage was to have been an arranged one, his willingness to end their engagement shocked Charlie who believed they would rub along well enough. If she thought that decision was shocking, wait ‘til she finds out what he does next.
