Erotic Historical Romance - Short Story

Somewhere in England – Regency Period

Jason Culver may be a marquess and must set a certain standard in society, but lately he can’t get the lovely Miss Alicia Alton out of his mind. He fantasizes about her in ways that would scandalize her. Jason cannot act on his lust, for Miss Alton is the governess to his three small children.

Alicia may be a virgin and a proper young lady, but she can’t help but stare whenever Lord Romley enters a room. And when he speaks to her directly, she tries not to swoon. Alicia has feelings for the father of her charges but knows nothing can come out of them. That is, until one night when both Alicia and Jason bump into each other in the dark hallway of his home. Jason must have Alicia, even though he may burn in hell for his feelings. Alicia can no longer deny her lord and master, and their underlying feelings are so strong that they are taken away in a passion that holds no possibility of a future.

LESS THAN HONOURABLE may be a short read, but Emma Wildes has written a wonderful historical romance that is heavy on passion and lust. Jason and Alicia give into their desires for one another, with very nice results. Their bedroom scenes were hot and juicy, everything you look forward to in a romance. Emma Wildes even has a nice secondary romance between Jason’s brother, Vince, and Hannah, a young woman who is meant to be Jason’s new wife. They also act on their attraction for each other, much as Jason and Alicia have done.

Jason may be LESS THAN HONOURABLE with his employee, but when he shows his feelings for Alicia in private, there is no doubt he is the perfect man for her. Emma Wildes has proven time and again that she can write top-notch historical romance, and LESS THAN HONOURABLE is the perfect example of that.
